Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
  • Design, monitor and test network performance and integrity
  • Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
  • Mentor team members on technical issues
  • Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication, backup  and disaster recovery)
  • Communicate with users when needed
  • Maintain complete technical documentation
  • Suggest improvements to network performance, servers, capacity and scalability

Requirements

  • No less than 3 years of full-time experience as Network Administrator
  • BS in Information Technology/Computer Science related field
  • Cisco professional  certification is required (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)
  • Additional professional IT certificate is a plus (e.g. ITIL, A+, Network+, Security+)
  • Solid understanding of network and firewall operating systems (Cisco, PaloAlto, Zscaler, Cyberoam)
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds Network tools)
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills for complex environments (e.g. Oracle, Windows, Solaris)

Requirements

  • No less than 5 years of full-time experience as System Administrator
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues
  • Provide support for level 1 technical support engineers
  • Design and suggest new technologies for IT infrastructure  
  • Experience with databases, applications and patch management (Oracle DB & Application, MS SQL, .NET ASP)
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
  • experience with various operating systems and platforms (windows server, Solaris)
  • BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
  • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
  • Microsoft certification is required (MCSA or MCSE)
  • Additional professional IT certificate is a plus (ITIL, CompTIA Server+,  VMware VCP6-DCV, Oracle 11g or12c OCA, RHCE )
